Reflections on the Holidays

bwfishbt1214

The lone fishing boat heading out of port in order to be home for the holidays looks cold and alone; yet, the fishermen do love their work.

Another day ~ a new day ~ yet dreary and cloudy here in this little seaport town. Winter tends to be grey or white ~ It is ‘the way it is.’ So have lighted the candles in the window, along with our little tree, with the ‘fairy lights’  so powerfully beautiful for the Holidays to bring the light into our  home to brighten our day.

Candles are always bring an added pleasure to the house day or night. Electric candle, yet serves the purpose. Did you know scented candles are not suppose to be unhealthy?

Wonder how your holiday is coming along? Are you into the ‘mad rush’ or serene and at peace, which is what the holiday is about really. ‘Peace on Earth’ ~
we can only hope.

Peace and love to you all.

On the New Editor in Word Press ~ another new adventure ~ Oh Boy! Can’t wait to learn more technology ~ ‘ I am too young for all this.’ So why I am doing this? If I am not learning, I would be dead. I am alive and want to develop my potential to the best of my ability. Precious moments that fly by in a ‘blink’  What do you think?

What do you think about?

What do you think about?

Reflections

Winter on Cape Ann MA ~ Brrr ~ Too early!

Winter on Cape Ann MA ~ Brrr ~ Too early!

Right now I am reflecting on Word Press and whether I like this approach or not ~ Always a learning curve ~ yet always good to be learning ~ learning is creative as well as the arts such as photography, painting, music, writing ~ Creativity is in all of us and many choose to not see it, I guess.

Moving forward ~ writing allows me time to reflect and be. Flowing with the now and enjoying the music in the background and the warm cutie dog beside me. After I have been out a bit for the day she is always so happy to have me back home and wants to’snuggle’ close. I enjoy her company and love her so much. Sometimes, especially in winter, I have to really push myself out the door to do things with friends, family and fellow artists. Then there is always the usual ‘errands’ we all need to do.

Life can be as simple or as complex as you would like. Do you enjoy complexity, simplicity or an equal balance of both or do you get bored with simplicity? I think Simplicity is beautiful ~ also enjoy a healthy dose at times of complexity.

Enjoy ~ xox
